New gaming headset from CM Storm

The Sirus-C

The CM Storm is the Cooler Master gaming brand and its lineup of Sirus headsets stopped after the Sirus 5.1, which were really appreciated by the gaming community, but strongly criticized because they were not compatible with gaming consoles, and because they had a poor sound if you wanted to listen to music. Hopefully, the new Sirus-C will be able to solve those problems.

With Gamers, music lovers and movie lovers in the mix, it is always hard to make an audio product able to satisfy every range of this market. CM Storm tried to do this with the new Sirus-C, which is a 2.2 headset with two speakers for each ear.

The Sirus-C features two 44mm drivers and two 40mm woofers, and they operate between 20Hz and 20Khz. They have a pretty neat design, soft paddings and big ear cups, and they weigh 465g. As far as connectivity is concerned, there are 2 standard audio jacks and the USB interface, a 3m long cable and an in-line controller for the volume and to switch from PC to Console mode. Finally CM Storm created an headset able to work with both PC and consoles.

The Sirus-C will be sold for €84.95, €15 less than the previous model on day one. We still have to test the quality of this headset, but we will have to wait for a review to do that.
