Marvell controller and Toshiba 19nm NAND
Plextor has announced that its M6S solid state drive, equipped with Marvell controller and Toshiba 19nm NAND is now available in Europe as well.
In case you missed it back when it was announced, the Plextor M6S SSD uses Marvell's dual-core SS9188 controller paired up with Toshiba's 19nm Toggle-Mode MLC NAND flash memory and delivers up to 520MB/s of read and 440MB/s of write performance.
The Plextor M6S SSD is packed in a standard 7mm thick 2.5-inch form-factor case and features SATA 6Gbps interface. It is backed by a three-year warranty and is available in 128, 256 and 512GB capacities.
The price, in most of the Europe is set at €82 for the 128GB model, €145 for the 256GB one and €306 for the 512GB M6S model.
