Cooler Master unveils QuickFire Rapid-i keyboard

The new mechanical keyboard for gamers

Cooler Master has previously unveiled quite a few QuickFire series of gaming mechanical keyboards and its latest addition, the Rapid-i, should be a perfect LAN party companion.

At its new minisite, which you can find below, dedicated solely for the QuickFire Rapid-i, Cooler Master has created a tenkeyless (TKL) design which will be compact but packed with features.

While the entire specifications are still unknown, we do know that it will feature a removable USB cable, which should make it more suitable for transporting. It will also feature a 32-bit ARM processor as well as an ability to have editable profiles which can be saved directly in the internal memory. One of those profiles include a new one named ActivLite, which allows direct control of each and every individual LED as well as a mode which lights up the pressed key and fade out slowly. You can check out more details from the animation at the minisite.

The used switches will not be very loud and it appears that this one will feature CherryMX Blue switches or something similar. As for the price and availability, Cooler Master did not shed much light other than those interested should check the noted minisite and be notified when it actually becomes available.
