MSI has announced two new members of its Gaming motherboard lineup, the MSI B85I Gaming micro-ATX and the B85M Gaming mini-ITX motherboards.
Based on pretty much the same design as the original B85 motherboards but with features like USB Audio Power, Killer LAN, Audio Boost, the new Gaming members will definitely be interesting for gamers on budget. With support for Intel's 4th generation LGA 1150 CPUs, up to 16GB of DDR3-1600 memory in two DIMM slots for dual-channel fun, single PCI-Express x16 slot and much more, the two new B85 Express chipset based motherboards are certainly interesting.
As noted, both new Gaming series B85 motherboards will feature USB Audio Power, Military Class 4 components which include Hi-C CAPs, Solid CAPs, Dark CAPs, SFC and Dark Chokes as well as MSI OC Genie 4, Click BIOS 4 and Command Center. The most important feature, which seperates it from standard, non-Gaming series B85 motherboards, is the Killer LAN.
Unfortunately, MSI did not shed any details regarding the price or the actual release date for the two new B85 Express chipset based Gaming series motherboards.
