Sony has managed to ship over 7 million units of the Playstation 4 globally and extend the lead over Microsoft's next-generation Xbox One console by over 3 million. With the launch of Infamous: Second Son game which managed to reach 1 million of sales, it appears that Sony is definitely coming out as the victor in the next-generation console war.


According to the report, Sony's Playstation 4 is outselling Xbox One by a rather impressive 7 to 1 in PAL regions and on last weekend, March 21st to March 23rd, Sony managed to sell a whooping 100,000 Playstation 4 consoles. The launch of the new Infamous: Second Son game title is and will help Sony with the sales as this one managed to go over 1 million sales mark.

Sony has been scoring sale wins every month since the launch and Microsoft will eventually have to do something in order to try and turn the tide.
