In order to sweeten the Shield deal Nvidia has not only announced during the GTC 2014 event that the handheld console will be getting the new update and Remote GameStream but it will also get Valve's famous Portal game.
We already wrote about the upcoming US $50 price cut which pushes Shield down to US $199 as well as the new OTA update scheduled for April 2nd, which will not only push the console to Android 4.4.2 KitKat but also bring the quite important Remote GameStream, which will allow the games to be streamed from your PC while you are somewhere else and not just via local network.
During GTC 2014, Nvidia's CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang has sweeten the Shield deal with the announcement of Valve's Portal game which will be available on Shield console. It will obviously be an Android version of the game but it is still not clear if the game will be Nvidia Shield or Tegra device exclusive or will it be available for every Android device.
Unfortunately, Nvidia and Valve have not shed any light on the actual release date.
