Electronic Arts and DICE had a lot of problems with the Battlefield 4 and the new Naval Strike expansion is not an exception either as those that have a Premium Account and which should get the expansion earlier are out of luck as the Naval Strike has been delayed and there is no new information regarding the new release date.
In case you are one of those PC gamers which have the Premium Account for Battlefield 4, it appears that you are out of luck as the new Naval Strike expansion has been delayed.
DICE has posted a note on the Battlelog stating that "We wanted to provide more detail about the delay of Battlefield 4 Naval Strike. We have delayed the PC version of Naval Strike because we are concerned that the combination of the pack and planned PC updates would increase performance issues on mid-range to high-end PCs."
DICE has also noted that they are working hard to resolve the issue now and has also delayed the Xbox One version in order to address the issues in the animation system. DICE says that it will try to resolve problems as quickly as possible and hope to release the update in early April for Xbox One and PC and that Premium Account owners will still have a two week early access once it has been released.
Battlefield 4 has been plagued by numerous issues from day one and the new one does not really help EA/DICE to regain the trust of many gamers, especially those that paid €50 for the Premium Account.
