Today Arctic Cooling is presenting no less than four new universal coolers for graphics cards. In this case there is the Accelero Hybrid II-120, the Accelero Xtreme IV, the Accelero Xtreme IV 280 as well as the Accelero Twin Turbo III.
With the Accelero Hybrid II-120 you get a combination of a air- and a watercooler, there the GPU receives watercooling treatment and the VRM area as well as the memory get cooled by air. In case of the radiator there is a 120 millimeter version and there is one fan included in delivery. Apart from that the cooler supports: GTX 780 Ti, GTX 760, GTX 660 as well as R9 290X, R9 280X and R9 270X. When it comes to pricing Artic recommends selling this model for 130 US-Dollar.
A closer look at the Accelero Xtreme IV shows, that like with the Accelero Hybrid, there is a huge backplate, helping to cool memory and VRM. Other than that there is a heatsink measuring no less than 288 millimeter in length, 104 millimeter in heigt and on top of that it's 54 millimeter thick. In case of heatpies there are five where each features six millimeter diameter. Cool air is being supplied by three fans with 92 millimeter diameter and all of the fans come with a PWM header. The Accelero Xtreme IV is compatible to the same GPUs like the Accelero Hybrid II-120. The price is going to end up around 100 US-Dollar.
Furthermore there is also the Accelero IV 280(X), which is optimized towards AMD's Tahiti graphics cards, meaning there is a special retention kit. Also this cooler will coust about 100 US-Dollar.
Last but not least, there is the Accelero Twin Turbo III. In this case you get a VGA cooler that also features a massive back-plate providing additional cooling for the memory as well as VRM area. Furthermore there is a massive heatsink through which five heatpipes are being routed and they all have a diameter of six millimeter. On top there are two 92 millimeter fans moving fresh air over the fans. This cooler is compatible to the same cards as the Accelero Xtreme IV except Hawaii and Tahiti based cards. The price for this cooler is going to be 80 US-Dollar.
