While it has been four months since the launch of the Xbox One, Microsoft is yet to release a PC driver for the new Xbox One controller, but, according to a report at PCGamer.com, you might actually get it to work with a bit, or rather, a lot of work.
The solution comes from a YouTube user Lucas Assis which has uploaded 11 minutes long video instructions which are far from plug-and-play solution but its should work. In order to make the Xbox One controller work on the PC you need a combination of a generic USB driver, controller emulating software vJoy, libusb and his own application which allows support for up to 16 controllers.
While these couple of steps are not plug-and-play easy, they are not hard either as everything is pretty much explained in the video below and all you have to do is
download the pack with all the needed software.
Hopefully, Microsoft will eventually launch the official Xbox One controller driver for Windows but until then at least you can make it work.
