Google Drive adjusts prices of its cloud storage

Offers 1TB of US $9.99

Google has dropped the prices for Google Drive's monthly storage plans as it now offers 15GB for free and other plans for much less money than expected.

As noted, you now get 15GB free when you subscribe to Google Drive and in case you want 100GB you will have to shell out a mere US $1.99. The 1TB option is not bad either as it now costs US $9.99 per month. For those looking for some serious cloud storage, 10TB+ starts at US $99.99.

"Having launched Google Drive just two years ago, we’re excited that so many people are now using it as their go-to place for keeping all their files," wrote Google on its official blog. "We’re able to make it more affordable for you to keep everything safe and easy to reach on any device, from anywhere."

In case it sounds interesting for you, you should head out to Google Drive. Google also noted that those that are already paying for Google Drive storage will automatically be moved to a more affordable plan.
