Valve's VR engineer goes to Oculus

Oculus gets another one

The rumors regarding the virtual-reality headset from Valve have been floating around for quite some time and while Valve has openly cooperated with Oculus, it was quite surprising that one of the Valve's VR engineers have decided to switch sides and go to Oculus.

Atman Binstock, described by Oculus as "one of the lead engineers and driving forces behind Valve’s VR project," and the guy behind the VR room demo Valve has revealed at Steam Dev Days, is now working at Oculus. Binstock will be the Chief Architect at Oculus and will head a new research and development team.

It is still not clear if this switch of sides from Binstock will actually influence the relationship between Valve and Oculus or is it some sort of internal deal but Oculus is certainly getting stronger and stronger by each passing day, pulling in some serious manpower.
