EK Water Blocks has announced that it is working on more full cover water blocks which are made specifically for high-end graphics cards from certain AIB/AIC partners, including MSI's R9 290X Lightning and certain ASUS ROG Matrix and DirectCU II graphics cards.
The full list includes full-cover water blocks for ASUS GTX780TI-DC2 DirectCU II, ASUS ROG Matrix GTX 780 Ti, ASUS ROG Matrix R9 290X, and MSI R9 290X Lightning graphics cards. All blocks are developed and engineered in cooperation with MSI and ASUS and since these are full-cover water blocks, they will directly cool the GPU, RAM and the VRM part of the graphics card.
All four new water blocks will also feature side-attached Terminal port system which will allow up to four water blocks to be used on a single ATX motherboard with EK-FC Terminal. All four water blocks also feature a very high flow design which makes them suitable for use with water cooling system that have weaker and thus less noisy pumps.
According to EK Water Blocks, the EK-FC780 GTX Ti DCII water block will be released on March 17th with a price tag set at €104,95, while both ASUS ROG Matrix water blocks are expected in early May. The EK-FC R9-290X Lightning water block for the MSI R9 290X Lightning graphics card is expected in the first half of April.
EK Water Blocks also announced that it is currently working on water blocks for more mainstream GTX 750 Ti and GTX 750 graphics cards which will feature single-slot design.
