Sharkoon is a brand that has been known to offer diversity and with the new Bulldozer BD28 case, they are trying to make a perfect quality-to-price PC case with a rather unique look.
The PC case market is quite big and there are plenty of various cases on the market so it is definitely not hard to find a case that you would actually like. While many cases on the market look pretty much the same, with minor differences, of course, Sharkoon has tried to spice things up with the new Bulldozer BD280.
The cases are quite simple, and you can either like them or not, since it a highly subjective matter. Behind the front panel of the Bulldozer BD28, you will find two 5.25-inch, three 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch slots. The entire case measures at 480x235x460mm and weighs 6.5kg. There is plenty of room for cable routing, as well as plenty of holes in the motherboard tray for it, and you get a decent size tray hole behind the CPU which should keep the CPU cooler mounting quite simple.
The new Bulldozer BD28 case from Sharkoon supports up to 30cm long PSUs, 17.9cm tall CPU coolers and up to 32.5cm long graphics cards. Of course, by removing the middle drive bay, it also pushes the graphics card length support to up to 41.5cm. As far as the cooling goes, the new BD28 comes with pre-installed front and rear 120mm fans and also supports either two 120mm, two 140mm or one 180mm fan that can be mounted in the top as well as an additional 120mm front fan.
The front I/O panel features two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 connectors, audio jacks and it has been placed between the two 5.25-inch bays. The new Sharkoon BD28 will hit retail with a US $60/€49.99 price tag and will be available in two colors, black with red, green or blue fans or Gun Metal grey with blue fans.
