MSI has decided to rather quietly introduce the R9 280X with 6GB memory alongside the standard R9 280.


Clocked at 1000MHz base GPU clock and 1050MHz GPU Boost clock, the R9 280X Gaming 6GB from MSI will be quite rare, which is the case with most AMD Tahiti based graphics cards currently on the market, due to their high coin mining popularity.

The guys from Videocardz.com spotted The R9 280X 6GB at MSI's website and according to details, the R9 280X Gaming 6GB has been listed for at least two months. Of course, we are yet to see it in retail/e-tail and actually see some reviews to see if there is any gain from 6GB of memory.

In any case, if 3GB is not enough for you, your should keep an eye out for this MSI R9 280X Gaming 6GB graphics card.
