MWC 2014: Lenovo also unveils new S860 smartphone

5.3-incher with metal body

In addition to the mid-range 5-inch S850 and the entry-level 4.7-inch S660 smartphones, Lenovo has also unveiled its newest, business oriented and a bit more expensive, smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, the Lenovo S860.

Based around a 5.3-inch 720 IPS screen and featuring all metal back, the Lenovo S860 also packs a quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek SoC, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.6-megapixel front camera and an impressive 4000mAh battery. Thanks to a hefty battery, the S860 also allows it to be used as a charging station of other devices via microUSB cable.

While it is placed a bit higher than the rest of the lineup, it is obvious that this is not a flagship smartphone but rather just a business oriented and a bit more expensive smartphone. It is made out of a single piece of metal with brushed finish on the back and also ships running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.

The price for the S860 is set at US $349 without contract and will be available in selected market pretty soon.
