Sapphire is certainly one the largest board partner of AMD and the company has a custom card of almost any AMD GPU in its portfolio. Today Sapphire announces the R7 265 Dual-X, which is basically a Radeon R7 265 that received a more powerful custom cooler.
A closer look at this card reveals, Sapphire has opted for their dual-slot, dual-fan cooler, which they call Dual-X. In combination with heatpipes and a generously sized heatsink, this cooler is going make temperatures possible, which are substantially lower than what you get with the reference cooler from AMD.
Other than that no changes have been made to the clocks speeds whatsoever. The GPU still runs at 900 MHz core clock and max 925 MHz dynamic boost clock. In case of memory there is 2 Gigabyte DDR5 memory, running at 1400 MHz (effective 5600 MHz), whereas the memory interface is 256 bit wide. When it comes to connectors, there are two DVI ports (DVI-I and DVI-D), an HDMI port as well as a single DisplayPort, supporting a maximum of three displays.
Unfortunately there is no information on pricing yet, but the cards should become available anytime soon.
