ADATA Technology has released its proprietary software for monitoring the status of ADATA solid state drives as well as maintaining their performance, called the ADATA SSD Toolbox. The new software should enable users to quickly configure, optimize and monitor the overall health of the solid state drives.


ADATA's new SSD Toolbox brings SSD health monitoring via S.M.A.R.T. attributes and also provides information regarding current operating temperature, capacity and total used space. It also includes SSD security erase option which also returns the drive to its factory settings and allows firmware updating.

As far as the performance of the SSD is concerned, the ADATA SSD Toolbox features both system and OS optimizations, including Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 OS in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

The ADATA SSD Toolbox offers two diagnostic options, Quick Diagnostic, with basic tests and Full Diagnostic options which runs a bit more extended tests.
