Although we are just barely done with the Consumer Electronics Show 2014 held last week in Las Vegas, it looks like NZXT is definitely not done with the announcements and has just launched its new H440 PC case. Based on a sleek looking design and available in two color combinations, white with black trim and black with red trim, the NZXT H440 is definitely an interesting new PC case.
NZXT actually made something that we would like to see on more standard ATX PC cases, got rid of the 5.25-inch drive bay and filled the entire front with three 120mm fans. In order to maintain the cleanest possible look, H440 places the PSU behind, what can only be described as a curved shroud, which also has two 2.5-inch drive bays on top of it. The rest of the features and specifications include room for four 3.5-inch HDDs, enough room for two 360mm radiators, on top and in front, standard ATX motherboard, comes bundled with three 120mm FN V2 fans in the front and single 140mm FN V2 fan in the back and should have quite an impressive cooling performance for a case, according to NZXT.
The precise dimensions are set at 220x510x475.3mm and it uses a combination of steel and plastic with metal plated front and top panels. As noted earlier it supports mini-ITX, micro-ATX and standard ATX motherboards.
The new NZXT H440 PC case should be available as of today and both versions should retail at around US $119.
