EVGA shows SuperNova 750 and 850 G2 PSUs at CES 2014

80Plus Gold certified

During Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in Las Vegas, EVGA has showcased and announced two new additions to its SuperNova power supply lineup, the SuperNova 750 G2 and the SuperNova 850 G2.

Both based on the fully modular PSU design, which means that even 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS connectors are also modular, and with single +12V rail, the new members of the SuperNova PSU lineup will also feature 80Plus Gold certification, offering up to 85 percent efficiency under full load or around 89 percent and 50 percent load, at least on paper.

The SuperNova 750 G2 packs enough punch for running dual-GPU systems while the 850 G2 model has enough power to power the third one as well. Both PSUs should feature same 140mm bottom placed fan for cooling.

According to details over at Techpowerup.com, EVGA's new SuperNova 750 G2 and the 850 G2 should be available "a little later this year" or most likely sometime during next month, depending on the region.
