Club 3D announces two new R9 270X graphics cards

royalQueen series With 2 and 4GB of memory

Riding on the fact that US $200/€150 (ex. tax) graphics cards are where the real money is, Club 3D decided to launch two new R9 270X graphics cards which will be a part of its PokerSeries, royalQueen Edition with 2GB or 4GB of GDDR5 memory.

Based on a custom design with a new dual fan version of the CoolStream cooler, both new R9 270X graphics cards are based on AMD's 28nm Curacao XT GPU with 1280 Stream Processors and 2 or 4GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface. The Club 3D royalQueen Edition versions work at up to 1080MHz GPU clock while memory ended up clocked at 5600MHz.

The new CoolStream cooler should provide much lower temperatures than the reference cooler at even lower noise and features a new flat black metal shroud and dual copper heatpipes.

According to Club 3D, these two new graphics cards should be hitting retail/e-tail shelves pretty soon.
