be quiet! has now officially announced its newest high-end CPU cooler, the Dark Rock Pro 3. Based on a dual-tower design, the new Dark Rock Pro 3 will feature a completely black design and include support for most, if not all, Intel and AMD sockets.

Based on a dual-tower design with nickel-plated black-painted looks, the new Dark Rock Pro 3 features 90 aluminum fins connected to a copper base via seven 6mm heatpipes and cooled by two SilentWings PWM fans, one 135mm and one 120mm. The new be quiet! cooler has a maximum noise output of 26.1dBA and includes support for Intel's LGA 775/1366/2011/1156/1155/1150 and AMD 754/939/940/AM2(+)/AM3/FM1 sockets.

According to be quiet!, the new Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU cooler should be on retail/e-tail shelves as of next week with a suggested price tag of €79.90.
