OCZ bringing consumer and enterprise SSDs to CES 2014

Next generation of SATA-based SSDs

OCZ has announced that it will be showcasing its current consumer and enterprise solid-state drives during CES as well as unveil the next generation of SATA-based SSDs.

As far as the enterprise market is concerned, OCZ plans to present a new line of SATA and PCIe based SSDs with support for virtualization and caching software in order to accelerate business application and I/O access. It will also showcase the recently released Intrepid 3000 series which is currently the company's fastest and largest capacity SATA II SSD.

On the consumer side, OCZ plans to show a couple of several SATA SSD models including the recently released Vector 150 series. Based on OCZ's Barefoot 3 controller, the Vector 150 SSD series implements industry-leading performance by delivering consistent, sustained speeds over time regardless of whether the data is in compressed or uncompressed formats, according to OCZ.

We will surely keep an eye on OCZ and we are certainly looking forward to see something new from the company.
