SteelSeries already announced that it will have some interesting surprises lined up for CES 2014 and it appears that Sensei Wireless gaming mouse is first on many to come. Featuring best possible hardware on the market, the Sensei Wireless promises same high-quality Sensei performance packed in a wireless mode.
The new Sensei Wireless features all the high-end hardware currently available on the market, including SteelSeries premium switches, configurable CPI settings, more than 16hrs of gaming and lag-free wireless performance which should be on par with the best wired gaming mice, according to SteelSeries.
Since the original wired Sensei was one of the best gaming mice around, the new Sensei Wireless will certainly have a hard time to live up to the name and SteelSeries promises same flawless combination of performance, comfortable design and customizable functionality. It uses premium laser sensor with CPI of up to 8,200 (DCPI of up to 16,400), premium switches which are good enough for 30-million clicks, fast response, great design, eight programmable buttons and SteelSeries' ExactTech.
Still based on ambidextrous design as the original Sensei, the new Sensei Wireless has rubberized parts for added grip, four zones of illumination with choice of over 16.8 million color options.
The wireless functionality on the new Sensei Wireless, according to Steelseries, has 1-milisecond response time, which basically means you will not see any lag. Included rechargeable battery holds enough juice for 16 hours of non-stop wireless gaming and it will ship with a base station which doubles up as dock for charging, wireless transmiter and receiver as well as an indicator of battery life, even when the mouse is not on the base. Of course, the Sensei Wireless also features a USB connector in case you run out of juice during your favorite gaming session.
The SteelSeries Sensei Wireless gaming mouse should be available in early March 2014 with a suggested retail price of US $159.99.
