According to a product page which showed up over at Overclockers.co.uk, HIS is working on a new custom-cooled R9 290X graphics card, the HIS Radeon R9 290X IceQ X2 Turbo.
Spotted by Videocardz.com, the new HIS Radeon R9 290X IceQ X2 Turbo features company's famous IceQ X2 cooler with two 89mm fans and a total of five heatpipes (two 8mm and three 6mm) connected to a rather hefty heatsink. Unfortunately, the aforementioned listing did not share any details regarding the actual clocks but we are sure that the the custom cooler will also bring a hefty factory overclock.
In case you missed it earlier, AMD's R9 290X graphics card packs 2816 Stream Processors, 4GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 512-bit memory interface and needs 8+6-pin PCI-Express power connectors.
The Overclockers.co.uk pre-order listing does note that the new HIS Radeon R9 290X IceQ X2 Turbo is expected to be available next month, or to be precise, January 24th, and currently features £499.99 price tag.
