Earlier this year in March, Club 3D released its '13Series graphics card series that came in a simple white box and without any accessories and game bundles in order to bring it to the market with a more aggressive pricing. Although mainly targeting system integrators, it appears that it worked quite well with consumers as well, making Club 3D launch the new '14Series graphics card series based on select R7 and R9 graphics cards.
For starters, Club 3D launched two graphics cards that will be a part of the Club 3D '14Series, the Club 3D Radeon R9 270X '14Series and the Club 3D Radeon R9 270 '14Series. Both based on the same Curacao GPU with 1280 Stream processors and 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface and clocked at 5600MHz, the cards only differ by actual clocks. Both new '14Series Club 3D graphics cards will also be equipped with Club 3D's CoolStream cooler.
The Club 3D Radeon R9 270X '14Series wil work at up to 1080MHz GPU clock has 175W TDP, is Eyefinity 4 capable and has support for AMD's Mantle API. The Club 3D Radeon R9 270 '14Series is pretty much the same but has a slightly lower 150W TDP and works at up to 955MHz GPU clock.
According to Club 3D, these two graphics cards are already quite popular with both system integrators and gamers seeking the best graphics card for 1080p gaming performance and definitely offer great price/performance ratio in their segment.
Unfortunately, Club 3D did not reveal any detail regarding the price of these two new '14Series graphics cards but we are sure we will see them in retail pretty soon.
