ASUS unveils Xonar D-KARAX sound card

In addition to the ASUS Xonar U7 Echelon USB 7.1-channel sound card, ASUS has also unveiled the new Xonar D-KARAX, a professional-grade sound card that is designed for singing enthusiasts.

The new ASUS Xonar D-KARAX is a PCI-Express sound card based on Cirrus Logic CS47028C DSP (digital-signal processor) offering 96KHz/24-bit playback, real-time audio processing, 7.1 audio and a 106dB SNR (signal-to-noise ratio). It adds audio effects in real-time with no playback lag and features studio-grade vocal effects as well as low microphone latency and ASUS Hyper Grounding technology with multi-layer PCB that should eliminate any noise.

Unfortunately, ASUS did nos shed any details regarding the availability date or the price of the new ASUS Xonar D-KARAX sound card.
