We already wrote that
MSI is working on a new Mini-ITX motherboard which will be a part of its Gaming series lineup as well as the fact that MSI has quite a few more surprises and today, MSI decided to finally show its newest Mini-ITX Gaming series motherboard as well as the new Mini-ITX Gaming series GTX 760 graphics card in full glory.
Although MSI still did not release all the details regarding the upcoming MSI Z87 based Mini-ITX Gaming motherboard, it appears to be quite similar to MSI's already available Z87I motherboard, just with a few extras like the USB DAC Power, Audio Boost, and Killer E2200 Gigabit Ethernet.
As far as we can see from the picture, the new Mini-ITX Gaming series motherboard features two DDR3 DIMM, single PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot in case you want to pair it up with the Mini-ITX GTX 760 Gaming graphics card, five SATA 6Gbps ports, couple of USB 3.0/2.0 ports and MSI Gaming features like MSI Gaming Device Port, OC Genie 4 and some sort of integrated WiFi. In any case it definitely looks like an interesting project for the smallest gaming PC.
As far as the Mini-ITX GTX 760 is concerned, there is not much to talk about other than it needs a single 8-pin PCI-Express power connector, has a dual slot single fan cooler, length of the mini-ITX motherboard and should be at least clocked at reference clocks, if not higher.
Both new Mini-ITX Gaming series products look quite interesting and we certainly hope that they will be officially launched soon.
