TechPowerUp has released the new version of its GPU-Z PC graphics subsystem information, monitoring, and diagnostics utility, the GPU-Z v0.7.4, which brings support for recently launched AMD's R9 series, upcoming Nvidia's GTX 780 Ti and some other graphics cards as well as brings some bug fixes.
In addition to the added support for AMD R9 290X, R9 290 and R9 270 it also brings support for HD 7310 and HD 8280 as well as support for the upcoming Nvidia GTX 780 Ti and GT 635 and Quadro K3100M graphics cards. It also adds the release date for AMD R7 260X, R7 250, R7 240 and fixes release date for AMD R9 280X and die size for AMD Tahiti.
The new GPU-Z also fixes ROP count on Intel's Ivy Bridge and Haswell CPUs (APUs), fixes BIOS saving on AMD cards without driver, some rare crashes on systems with Intel IGP, and adds an ability to pause the Render Test by simply left-clicking on the window.
