Due to the fact that the recently launched AMD Radeon R9 290X graphics card made a lot of pressure on Nvidia and its GTX Titan graphics card, the recently teased GTX 780 Ti can either be faster than GTX Titan or cheaper than GTX 780. According to the leaked 3DMark 11 results, it appears that it will definitely be faster than GTX Titan but we are still not sure about the price.
In a leaked set of benchmark scores where AMD Radeon R9 290X scores X4664 in 3DMark 11 and Geforce GTX hits X4923, the Geforce GTX 780 Ti ended at X5204 which puts the new Nvidia graphics card at around 5 percent faster than the GTX Titan. Of course, GTX Titan will still have its performance crown in certain compute specific tests but when it comes to gaming it will definitely lag behind the upcoming GTX 780 Ti.
Unfortunately, it is still not clear where between the US $1000 GTX Titan and US $649 (US $499 after upcoming price cut) will Nvidia decide to place the new GTX 780 Ti.
