AMD has rolled out the sixth version of its Catalyst 13.11 beta driver that includes a couple of game specific performance boosts as well as brings support for Radeon R9 290X and the Radeon R9 290 graphics cards.
As expected, the new Catalyst 13.11 Beta6 also supports all the Radeon graphics cards since HD 5000 series and includes all feature highlights from previous AMD Catalyst 13.11 Beta releases. It also brings couple of game specific performance improvements including up to 35% in Batman: Arkham Origins when MSAA 8x is enabled, up to 10 percent in Total War: Rome 2, Battlefield 3 and DiRT Showdown and some minor improvements anywhere between 5 and 8.5 percent in games like Sleeping Dogs, DiRT 3, GRID 2 and Formula 1 2013.
In addition to the performance improvements and the support for R9 290X and R9 290, the new drivers also brings automatic AMD Eyefinity configurations as well as the automatic plug and play configuration of supported UHD/4K tiled displays.
As always, the new Catalyst 13.11 Beta6 driver can be found at AMD's website via link below.
