Earlier this week we have seen some alleged benchmarks of the upcoming AMD Radeon R9 290X that showed its performance potential in 3DMark as well as a few games but now we finally have some 3840x2160 4K/UHD benchmarks that shows the R9 290X in all its glory.
Although the new benchmarks only show what the R9 290X is capable of in Tomb Raider and Bioshock, since both of these games are a part of AMD's Evolved program, but it still runs circles around GTX 780 at 4K/UHD. In Tomb Raider it means having around 30FPS when GTX 780 can't even reach 30FPS.
Of course, we still need to see other benchmarks and while 4K/UHD gaming is the next big thing, we would also like to see some more details as well.
