SteelSeries announces availability of the 9H headset

Tournament-grade audio drivers and Dolby surround

SteelSeries has announced the pre-order availability of its new, tournament-grade 9H Gaming headset. Currently available only at the SteelSeries web shop the new 9H headset features tournament-grade audio drivers, Dolby Surround Sound technologies and finely tuned, custom-engineered soundscape with wide dynamic range.

Based on a rugged and industrial design, the SteelSeries 9H features swappable cable system with in-line audio controls for use with PC, Mac, tablets and phones, enhanced passive noise reduction via extra-padded leather ear cushions and an added layer of outer material to each earcup, retractable microphone system that picks up clear-voice communication and can be easily pulled out or stored inside of the left earcup as well as an advanced USB soundcard that provides Dolby Technology with Dolby Digital, Headphone and Prologic IIx features.

As noted, the SteelSeries 9H gaming headset is currently exclusively available for pre-order at SteelSeries web shop with a price tag of US $159.99.
