Patriot Memory has announce its latest memory kit, Viper 3 Low Profile. Aimed at those that need a bit more clearance for large CPU but do not want to sacrifice memory performance.

The new Patriot Viper 3 Low Profile memory kits will be available in 8, 16 and 32GB capacities and in 1600MHz, 1866MHz and 2133MHz versions. At mere 1.25-inch height (around 3.17cm), the new Viper 3 Low Profile kits will allow much more clearance with large CPU coolers and motherboards where DIMM slots are squeezed next to the CPU socket.

The new Viper 3 Low Profile kits will be available with black, blue or red Viper heatspreaders, support XMP 1.3 profiles and backed by a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, Patriot did not shed any light regarding the actual price or the availability date for the new Viper 3 Low Profile memory kits.
