OCZ has announced two new addition to its power supply lineup, the new Fatal1ty 550W and 750W models. Originally unveiled during Computex 2013, the new Fatal1ty series PSUs will offer high efficiency, single +12V rail design as well as a fully modular cable design.
Co-developed with none other than Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel, the new Fatal1ty PSUs will be available in 550 and 750W versions and are designed to offer performance and reliability as well as an updated feature set. The new OCZ Fatal1ty lineup feature up to 85 percent efficiency at typical loads with 80Plus Bronze rating and features a single +12V rail as well as a 135mm temperature and load-controlled fan with glowing red LEDs.
The new Fatal1ty Series PSUs are equipped with premium components and heavy-duty protection circuitries that utilize specialized DC-to-DC converters for compatibility with Intel's Haswell platform. Featuring fully modular design, the new Fatal1ty PSU series will offer a complete array of connectors and provide much less clutter by eliminating unnecessary wiring.
According to OCZ, both new Fatal1ty PSUs should be available immediately and are backed by a 3-year warranty for the 550W version and 5-year for the 750W one.
