G.Skill shows DDR4 and DDR3-3000 at IDF 2013

32GB DDR3 kit running at 3000MHz

While it did not give any precise information regarding DDR4 engineering samples that they brought to showcase at IDF 2013, G.Skill did showcase and detailed its top of the line 32GB DDR3 kit that was running on 3000MHz during the show.

As it did proudly display a couple of DDR4 engineering samples at IDF, it appears that it did not had any other details regarding it since the memory is still under development and will not show up in consumer systems before the Q4 2013.

On the other hand, G.Skill also brought its top of the line 32GB (8x4GB) DDR3 kit that was running at an incredible 3000MHz during IDF 2013. Put to good use on Asus X79-Deluxe motherboard and Intel's Ivy Bridge-E Core i7-4960X CPU, the new G.Skill kit certainly raises the bar when it comes to memory overclocking.

Working at 3000MHz with CL 12-14-14-35 latencies at 1.65V certainly sounds like a great way to tease the real overclockers that should wonder on how far this memory could actually go, especially when LN2 is thrown into the formula.
