Xbox Music avaible for iOS, Android, WP8 and PC

Better than Spotify

The new Xbox Music app is avaible for all the mobile OS version, including iOS, Android and Windows Phone 8. The service currently has around 30 millions of songs, which is quite a lot considering that Spotify has only around 20 million.

After the Zune failure, Microsoft made another attempt with yet another service, called the Xbox Music. This new service allows the user to stream around 30 millions of songs.

Obviously, like Spotify, there are two kind of membership, free and paid. The free one, for the first six months, allows you to listen music on PC but after six months there is a ten hour limit.

The paid one, has access to the entire catalog without any sort of time limit. The iOS and Android apps can not download the songs directly and only support streaming, but we hope that Microsoft will add this feature this autumn.

The service costs 9.99$ for a month or 99.99$ for the annual subscription.
