Xiaomi maybe snatched Google's own Hugo Barra, but it will still be only focused on China market apparently as it has launched its new flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi3.
Based around an ultra-sharp 5-inch 1920x1080 IPS LCD screen and powered by Nvidia's own Tegra 4 SoC, the new Xiaomi Mi3 is definitely an interesting device. There will also be a version powered by Qualcomm's high-end Snapdragon 800 SoC while both will be paired up with 2GB oif RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage space and a welcoming 3,050 mAh battery.
The Tegra 4-equipped version of the Xiaomi Mi3 will work at 1.8GHz and feature 72 core Geforce GPU while the Qualcomm one will end up at 2.3GHz and feature Adreno 330 GPU which will be clocked at 550MHz, a good 100MHz over standard Snapdragon 800 chip.
Both versions will feature 13-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front one and have a rather interesting price tag of a mere US $330 for the 16GB and US $410 for the 32GB version, which is definitely unheard of when it comes to 1080p screen smartphones featuring high-end SoCs on the market.
