Humble EA/Origin Bundle raises over US $3 million

Electronic Arts gives everything to charity

The recently added Humble Bundle sponsored by Electronic Arts that includes six+two games has managed to raise over US $3 million so far and the good side of the story is that EA and Origin decided to donate their share of proceeds to five charities.

Currently, this is definitely one of the best bundle deals around and includes titles like Dead Space 3, Dead Space, Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box, Crysis 2 Maximum and Medal of Honor and if you go above average with your donation, you also get Battlefield 3 and Sims 3 with three-expansion starter pack.

As it was the case with previous Humble Bundle bundles, you can actually pay what you want but as noted, if you go over average you get two other games as a bonus. Origin and EA will donate its proceeds to the Human Rights Campaign, Watsi, the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society, and you can actually pick which charity you prefer. EA will also provide Steam keys for some titles that are available there in addition to Origin download keys.

In any case, it is definitely a great bundle and at the end of the day everything goes to charity. At the time of writing, Humble Bundle managed to raise a total of US $3,561,620.68.
