It looks like bad news about Xbox One just don't want to find an ending. Microsoft has now announced, that the initial launch plans have been thrown over board. Instead of a launch in 21 countries the software giant now wants to launch its upcoming console in only 13 countries.
It's quite interesting to see which countries got kicked from the initial launch list. These are Russia, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. We have a hard time understanding why Microsoft ruled out these eight countries, since most of them are way above average in terms of GDP per capita. According to Microsoft official statement the company want to be able to meet initial demand in the 13 remaining countries.
A closer look at that list reveals these are US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland and Austria. The other eight countries, we mentioned before will get the Xbox One by the beginnin of 2014.
Since there were quite a few pre-orders from the eight countries, that got removed from the launch list, Microsoft, at least, wants to make them a little present. To say thanks to these users, the company will send them a version of the console with a pack-in game.
