New iPhone coming on September 10th

Apple preparing a big event

According to a report over at AllthingsD.com, Apple will host a big event on September 10th where it is expected to unveil the new iPhone. In addition to new iPhone, various other sources around the net are saying that we might see more than one iPhone as well as the new Macbook Air.
As you might know from recent Q3 financial reports, Apple is still making a lot of money from its smartphone business but it did see a significant market share drop due to the flood of low-cost Android smartphones and Samsung's own push into high-end smartphone market.

Whether the Apple finally launch a mid-range iPhone or stick with its original, and according to some, business plan of the late Steve Jobs to do only premium high-end smartphone, it is at least clear that it will run on iOS 7, same one that has been announced during Apple's developer conference in June. There has also been a lot of rumors regarding various features including processor enhancements, camera upgrades and even a fingerprint sensor that will be a result of Apple's acquirement of Authentec.

Apple is also expected to officially announce the new version of Mac OS X, the Mavericks, but that one will not be a part of Apple's September 10th event. As expected, Apple did not comment on any of these rumors.

Another report also notes that Apple might actually announces two smartphones, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. It is also possible that Apple might finally show its new MacBook Air notebooks but considering that it still has to announce iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2, this will either be the biggest event in history or press is just reporting random rumors that we have been hearing for quite some time.
