ASRock has announced that its ASRock 990FX Extreme9 motherboard has enough power and has passed several tests that confirms its build quality is enough to put it on the list of motherboards certified to run with AMD's recently launched 5GHz FX-9590.
According to ASRock, when paired up with the FX-9590, the ASRock 990FX Extreme9 is up to 25 percent faster than when it is paired up with the previous FX-8350 flagship CPU and enough to score 8.55 in Cinebench R11.5, run SuperPI at 18.377 seconds and score up to 18894 in PCMark Vantage.
