Since Intel's recently launched 4th generation Core Haswell CPUs based on 22nm architecture is finally coming to market, it is no wonder that bunch of other, older, CPUs will be EOLed pretty soon. By Q3 2013, or simply end of September, Intel plans to phase out some of the previously quite popular Core and Pentium LGA1155 CPUs that should be replaced by Core and Pentium Ivy Bridge and Haswell based parts.

Most of the parts scheduled for EOL by Q3 2013 are a part of the Pentium and Celeron lineup and it includes G860, G645, G645T, G550T, G555, G645, G630, G620, G622, G870, G860T, G640, G630T, G640T, G550, G540T, G460, G530, and G530T parts. The Core i3 Sandy Bridge based Core i3-2100, i3-2125, i3-2130, i3-2120T, and i3-2102 as well as Core i5 Sandy Bridge i5-2390T will be EOLed as well and no longer be available for distributors and OEMs.

All of these parts will be replaced by Haswell and Ivy Bridge parts in the mean time and judging by the list, we won't see that much Sandy Bridge parts on the market as of Q3 2013.
