Asus launches GTX 760 DirectCU Mini graphics card

In addition to standard GTX 760 DirectCU

As it was the case with most, if not all Nvidia AIB partners, Asus has also launched a couple of graphics cards based on the Geforce GTX 760 design. Unlike other partners, Asus' GTX 760 lineup includes a rather unique GTX 760 DirectCU Mini graphics card that is aimed at SFF gaming PCs.

Asus actually launched a total of three GTX 760 based graphics cards including Asus GTX 760 DirectCU II that will be available in standard and OC version and the aforementioned GTX 760 DirectCU Mini. In case you missed it earlier, the GTX 760 is based on the 28nm GK104 GPU with 1152 CUDA cores, 2GB of GDDR5 memory and a 256-bit memory interface.

According to Asus, DirectCU coolers should bring up to 20 percent lower temperatures and should be much quieter when compared to reference cooling solutions. While the reference and standard Asus GTX 760 DirectCU II are clocked at 980MHz base and 1033MHz Boost GPU clocks, the Asus GTX 760 DirectCU II OC version got overclocked to 1006MHz base and 1072MHz GPU Boost clocks.

The more interesting is the GTX 760 DirectCU Mini which is pretty much the same design as the previously release and available Asus Geforce GTX 670 DirectCU Mini. Measuring at only 17x12x4cm, the Geforce GTX 760 DirectCU Mini can fit in almost any case and perfectly pairs up with any mini-ITX motherboard. The GPU runs at up to 1072MHz and it features 2GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 6008MHz.

Asus certainly has a lot to offer in its Geforce GTX 760 lineup and we are sure that the GTX 760 DirectCU Mini will be the first choice for anyone building a custom LAN-party rig or small form factor gaming system.
