MSI has now officially launched the new MSI Geforce GTX 780 Gaming graphics card that will use MSI's own custom PCB with with Military Class 4 components paired up with its quite famous Twin Frozr IV dual-fan cooler and factory overclock.
Since it is a part of MSI's new Gaming series, the new MSI N780 TF 3GD5/OC will feature black/red color scheme. In case you missed it earlier, the GTX 780 is based on Nvidia's GK110 GPU with 2304 CUDA cores and MSI's Geforce GTX 780 Gaming will end up working at 954MHz for the base and 1006MHz for GPU boost clocks while 3072MB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 384-bit memory interface will end up clocked at reference 6008MHz.
The new GTX 780 Gaming will also ship with Gaming App that lets you choose between three modes - OC Mode, Gaming Mode and Silent Mode. The Twin Frozr IV cooler features two 10cm PWM fans paired up with a large area form-in-one heatsink and superpipe technology heatpipes.
According to MSI, the new GTX 780 Gaming should be around 16 degrees cooler while still remaining quieter than the reference cooled GTX 780.
Unfortunately, MSI did not announce the precise availability date or the actual price of the new GTX 780 Gaming, but we do not expect it to be much more expensive than the reference one.
