As it was rumored earlier, Nvidia is preparing the launch of the new Geforce GTX 760 graphics card that is based on the 28nm Kepler architecture and should hit retail/e-tail sometime next week. Luckily, we now have some of the first picture of custom graphics cards as well as some specifications rumored earlier.
While specifications are still not detailed precisely, according to earlier rumors the GTX 760 should be based on the GK104-225 A2 GPU with 1152 CUDA cores, 32 ROPs, 96 TMUs and feature 2GB of GDDR5 memory. The new GTX 760 should end up to be somewhere in the range of the GTX 670 and hit the US $299 price range.
The Galaxy Geforce GTX 760 GC model was first one to be pictured by Videocardz site and it shows that Nvidia partners have been given a green light to go with their own custom solution from day one. MSI's Geforce GTX 760 gaming edition have already been leaked by PCGameshardware site and will feature Twin Frozr IV cooler and new red and black color scheme.
The last but not the least are two listed GTX 670 graphics cards, the Asus GTX 760 DirectCU II OC and Gigabyte's own GTX 760 OC Windforce.
In any case, the GTX 760 should be a quite interesting graphics card that will put some pressure on AMD's mid-range offer.
