Intel's new desktop roadmap leaks

CPU-World.com site stumbled on a couple of slides that shows what we can expect in the second half of this and first half of next year when it comes to Intel desktop offer and according to them it should be quite interesting as Intel is preparing a couple of new Q3 launch of Extreme and Premium line chips as well as some other entry and mid-range products that should come in Q1 2014.

According to leaked slides that confirm earlier rumors, the Ivy Bridge-E chips, including the Core i7-4820K, i7-4930K and the i7-4960X should launch in Q3 and will use the existing X79 platform. Also in Q3, Intel is preparing a new Premium line product, the Core i7-4771 that should, at least according to rumors, have an upgraded IGP when compared to currently available Core i7-4770.

The mid-range will also get a couple of updates include the new H81 chipset and six new CPUs, the Core i3-4130, i3-4330, i3-4340 as well as Ivy Bridge Pentium G3220, G3420 and G3430 chips. The entry-level lineup should be updated in Q1 2014 with a couple of new Celeron CPUs while Haswell refresh and new Z97 and H97 chipset are expected in Q2 2014.
