Intel releases new GPU driver for Ivy Bridge and Haswell

Intel 9.18.10.3165 GPU driver

Following the release of Haswell, Intel has updated its GPU drivers to version 9.18.10.3165 in order to squeeze the maximum from those Iris Pro and Iris GPUs as well as bring some additional bug fixes for Ivy Bridge GPUs.

Available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions and for both Windows 8 and Windows 7, the new driver adds support for 4th generation Intel Core Haswell Processors and fixes a bunch of bugs on both 3rd and 4th generation Intel Core processors. The new driver supports Intel Pentium processor 2000/G2000/G2100 series, Intel Celeron processor 900/1000/G1000 series, Intel HD Graphics 4000/2500 on 3rd gen Core processors as well as Intel HD Graphics 4200/4400/4600/5000, Intel Iris Graphics 5100 and Iris Pro graphics 5200 on 4th gen Intel Core Haswell CPUs.

The release notes includes a handful of fixes including an issue with lack of EDID support on some monitors, resolved issue with DWM.exe crash when switchable graphics was enabled, resolved crash issue with H.264 in Corel VideoStudio Pro, resolved issue with 2560x1080 resolution on the third DisplayPort 1.2 monitor when daisy chained as well as power problems with DisplayPort monitors, resolved corruption issue in Resident Evil 5 benchmark, issues with Windows lock screen and an issue when screen goes black in Clone mode.
