MSI has announced that it will actually launch 30 motherboards based on Intel 8-series Express chipset aimed to be used with Intel 4th generation Core Haswell CPUs. With 23 classic models, five gaming and three overclocking models, MSI will certainly have no trouble in covering the entire range, from entry-level to high-end once Intel officially launches the new line at Computex 2013 next week.
Although it has not yet detailed the entire lineup, it did reveal that we will see the Z87 MPOWER, Z87 MPOWER MAX and Z87 XPOWER as the high-end offer that will have most of the high-end features and target computer enthusiasts and overclockers. The Overclocking series will use MSI's new black and yellow color scheme and should be considered as the cream of the crop when it comes to Intel Z87 offer.
MSI will also launch five Gaming series motherboards that have been already previewed at Cebit and which will focus on some features that are important to the gaming community, including audio, with Audio Boost and Ethernet with integrated Killer NIC. The Gaming series will feature black and red color scheme and cover both Z87 and the Z77 line of motherboards, hopefully having quite a lower price tag when compared to the Overclocking series.
The last but not the least are 23 models of the Classic series that will use MSI's standard black and blue color scheme and cover the entire line of Intel 8-series Express chipset. The entire lineup will feature Military Class 4 components, Click BIOS 4 and bunch of other features that will debut on the entire 8-series lineup from MSI.
Of course, entire lineup will be unveiled at a pre-show press conference on 3rd of June and officially launched as soon as Intel gives a green light.
