EVGA announces GTX 780 Hydro Copper series

Classified version coming soon

EVGA has announced the new EVGA GTX 780 Hydro Copper series, or simply, Geforce GTX 780 graphics cards paired up with a full cover Hydro Copper water block.

For starters, EVGA only launched a standard GTX 780 with Hydro Copper water block but it is also working on a Classified Edition of the same card that will most likely feature a hefty factory overclock and by the looks of things, a custom PCB as well.

The EVGA GTX 780 w/ Hydro Copper watercooler still feature 2304 CUDA cores and 3072MB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 6008MHz and paired up with a 384-bit memory interface but also comes with a decent factory overclock with 980MHz base and 1033MHz GPU Boost clocks.

The full cover water block also features swapable inlet/outlet design that ensures maximum compatibility, uses chrome-plated C110 copper and features 0.25mmx0.35mm thin-pin matrix which help in transferring the heat from the GPU to liquid, features glowing EVGA logo, and includes both 3/8" and 1/2" compression fittings.

Unfortunately, EVGA did not shed any details regarding its Classified Edition of the GTX 780 w/ Hydro Copper watercooler but we guess we'll see it soon enough.

Both cards are still not available but EVGA currently lists the standard EVGA GTX 780 Hydro Copper at US $799.99 which is quite a hefty premium over the standard EVGA GTX 780 priced at US $659.99 and the EVGA GTX 780 SuperClocked ACX one priced at the same US $659.99.
