ADATA announces new XPG V2 series memory

ADATA Technology has announced a successor of the popular XPG memory lineup, the new XPG V2 series. Designed for 4th generation Intel Core CPUs and the Z87 platform, the new XPG V2 series will feature high-quality PCB and NAND chips as well as new visually striking heat spreaders.

As noted by ADATA, the new XPG V2 modules will features 2oz copper, 8 layer PCB with aluminum heat spreaders that use Thermal Conductive Technology (TCT). The heat spreaders will feature futuristic form and new colors depending on the actual performance level of the kit.

The top offer will be the 2800MHz modules featuring CL 12-14-14-36 latencies at 1.65V. To be available in dual-channel 8GB and 16GB kits (4GB x 2 and 8GB x 2) the new XPG V2 should be rolling out to retail/e-tail shelves in next few weeks.

According to our info, the MSRP should be set at €359.50 for the 8GB and 730.90 for the 16GB 2800MHz kits.
